Candacy Atkins

Born on February 13th 1984 in Guyana, former West Indies Test and ODI player and member of the USA T20 team, Candacy Atkins.

Candacy made her ODI debut for West Indies (cap 44) in March 2003, against Sri Lanka. It was the first of eleven matches in her ODI career.

Exactly 365 days after her ODI debut Candacy played her one and only Test match for West Indies. It would be the West Indies last Test match and more famous for Kiran Baluch’s record 242 innings than anything else.

And that was that. Until 2009, when she began a career with a new team. Back then USA did not have T20 International status, so Candacy’s only T20 International to date was in 2019. Part of the squad selected for the 2021 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier.
