Born on the 6th April 1952 in Elsies River, Cape Town, Leighshe Jacobs is a former Test cricketer for South Africa. Leighshe played two Test matches against England on the 2003 tour but did not figure in any of the ODIs.
A leg-break bowler, Leighshe’s best figures came in her second and final Test match at Taunton where she took 2-72 including the wicket of the England captain, Clare Connor.
All of Leighshe’s white ball cricket was played for domestic teams Western Province and Boland.
