Born 21st February 1998 in Kaniye, Southern District, Laura Mophakedi is the captain on the Botswana women’s cricket team.
Laura is also the team’s wicket keeper and has played in all but one of the matches played by Botswana since the nation gained T20 international status in 2018.
She is also busy with a bat in her hand for Laura is currently the all-time leading run scorer for Botswana. Over her career she has scored 311 runs with a top score of 38. With the gloves, 13 catches and 2 stumpings.
