Zoe Goss is a former fast-medium bowler and middle order batter who played twelve Test matches and 65 ODIs for Australia. Born in Perth, Western Australia, Goss began her cricket career at the age of eleven.
She made her debut for her state in 1985/6 at the age of seventeen and by 1986/7 was selected in the Australian ODI team. In mid 1987 she made her Test debut against England. In twelve Test matches, Zoe Goss took 20 wickets at 25.55 with a best of 3-15. With the bat, 248 runs with a top score of 48.
In the ODI arena, Goss was far more effective and would have made an ideal T20 cricketer, given her skill set. She played in four ODI World Cups, 1988, 1993, 1997 and 2000. The final of the 2000 World Cup would be her last game. In 65 ODIs she scored 1099 runs with a high score of 96 not out. She took 64 wickets at 19.15 with a best of 4-10.
