Eileen Massey, although born in Albany in Western Australia, played all of her competitive cricket for Victoria. Her family moved to Victoria following the Second World War and it was there that she began to show promise as a cricketer.
Massey made her Test debut in 1957 in a team dominated by players from her own state team of Victoria, such as Betty Wilson and captain of Australia, Una Paisley. Eileen made 32 with the bat and took 2-14 on debut. In all she played four Tests for Australia.
Eileen (married name Uebergang) passed away in January 2019.
