- India has defeated England in the historic Lord’s Test by 270 runs, the fourth largest runs victory in Tests. A convincing victory for the visitors and it was built on the excellent fast bowling of the Indian team. No surprise that one of their fast bowlers, Kranti Gaud, was named player of the match.
- Three brand new entrants on the Honours Board at Lord’s: Kranti Gaud for her 5-37, Sophie Ecclestone for her 5-118 and Yastika Bhatia for her 113.
- After 10 Tests on English soil, India remain unbeaten.
- Harmanpreet Kaur is now India’s most successful Test captain with four wins, going past Mithali Raj (3).
- Amy Jones is the first wicket keeper to score fifty in both innings of a Test.
- Yastika Bhatia‘s 113 is the highest score by an Indian wicket keeper in Tests, overtaking Anju Jain‘s 110.
