Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui

Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, is in Taurunga in the Bay of Plenty area on the North Island of New Zealand. It is home to the domestic team, Northern Districts. While it has yet to host a Test match, it has hosted both ODI and T20I matches since 2014.

Construction of the ground commenced in 2005 and the first match played was in December 2007 by the Northern District’s women’s team. (The men commenced playing from 2008/09). Ground capacity is 10,000.
