Born on 18th January 1998 in Wellington, is current ODI and T20 International player for New Zealand, Jessica Mackenzie Kerr.
Jess has a substantial cricketing pedigree. Her grandfather Bruce Murray played Test cricket for New Zealand, while her parents Robbie and Jo both played domestic cricket for Wellington. Her sister Amelia Kerr also plays.
A right-arm medium fast, Jess bowls inswing to the right-hander and on her day can be quite a handful. She is also handy with the bat although opportunities are few and far between when she bats so low in the order.
Jess made both her ODI and T20I debuts in season 2020/21. Her T20 debut was in the World Cup in Australia in March of 2020, so it is still early days in the career of this player but her potential is great.
