Born on September 5th 2000, in Mumbai, is current T20 International and ODI star on the rise for India, Jemimah Rodrigues.
At age 13 she was selected for the U19 state team. Besides her obvious talent with a cricket bat, she was also swinging a hockey stick for the state U17 and U19 teams.
A double century in 2017 in a 50 over match put her name square in front of the national selectors’ eyes and on 13th February 2018 made her T20I debut against South Africa where she made 37 in 27 deliveries. A month later she made her ODI debut against Australia.
Since then Jemimah has played in two T20 World Cups. She’s already played in over 50 T20 internationals, with seven half centuries and a high score of 72.
