Born on 8th October 1991 in London England, current T20 International allrounder for France, Poppy McGeown.
Poppy is an allrounder, bowling right-arm medium pace and batting right handed. She’s only played in eight T20Is for France but when she comes to the crease with bat or ball, something is happening.
Her best performances have come against Germany with 2-11 and 24 not out in the recent series at Krefeld. Prior to 2018, Poppy also represented Belgium. Her Dad is from Scotland, Mum is from France and Poppy even lived here in Australia for a few years. Now that’s truly International!
