Rumana Ahmed

Born on 29th May 1991 in Kulna, is current ODI and T20 International allrounder for Bangladesh, Rumana Ahmed.

Rumana made her debut for Kulna in 2011/12 and immediately the right-hand batter and leg-break bowler was called on to make her international debut for Bangladesh in the same season.

Since her debut Rumana has been a regular in the national team, a reliable allrounder. She has played 38 ODIs. Her top score of 75 is one of four half centuries. Her 42 wickets have come at 24.64 average with a best of 4-20 against India at Ahmedabad in 2013 and included the wicket of captain Harmanpreet Kaur.

Rumana has played in 65 T20 Internationals which has included four World Cup appearances, including the March 2020 tournament. She has a top score of 50, taken 57 wickets at 20.05 with a best of 3-2 against the Netherlands in 2018.
