Born on 18th July 1991 in Lahore, Punjab, is ODI and T20 International player for Pakistan, Bismah Maroof.
A left-hand batter and leg-break bowler, Bismah has played over 200 international matches. She has also captained the team since 2013 but handed that captaincy to Javeria Khan while on maternity leave. She returned to lead Pakistan to the World Cup in 2022.
Bismah has accumulated the highest aggregate of all time for Pakistan in ODIs. She appears three times in the top ten highest scores for Pakistan in this format.
It is even more evident with her T20I career. Bismah is the leading run scorer for Pakistan. Her 11 fifties are the most by a Pakistan player. She appears seven times in the top ten highest scores for her team.
