Alison Ratcliffe

Born 10th October 1934, in Haslingden, Lancashire, former England Test cricketer Alison Ratcliffe was an allrounder.

All of Alison’s four Test matches were played on the South Africa tour of 1960/1 and her debut was at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth where she batted at number four, just above Rachael Heyhoe.

Across the four Tests Alison scored 226 runs at the handsome average of 45.20 and a top score of 95 in the second Test at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. She also took 12 wickets at 17.58 with a best return of 4-50, so quite the allrounder.
