Tahlia McGrath

Born on 10th November 1995 in Adelaide, South Australia, current Test, ODI and T20 International player for Australia, Tahlia May McGrath.

A right-hand-batter with a booming cover drive, Tahlia also bowls right-arm medium pace. Another string to her bow is captaincy. As Australia’s vice captain, she has a record of six wins from six games in ODIs and eight from nine T20 Internationals.

Tahlia made her ODI debut in 2016/17 and has since played over 60 matches. Her 74 against India in Mackay in September 2021 is her highest score but it was a time where she came of age as a batter, following up with 47 in the next match.

A debut in the Ashes Test of 2017/18 saw Tahlia take 2-45 and score 47, batting with Ellyse Perry on that batter’s journey to 213 not out.

Tahlia made her T20 International debut in October 2021 against India. Quite often used in various batting positions and her role at mid-off, even when not skipper, is a calm and authoritative influence on the team.
